Fine® Aquamarine Shaving Soap

Nice scent, unique while still feeling "classic". Will have to buy the corresponding aftershave soon!

Love this and the aftershave. The shaving cream is great - makes for a very smooth shave and the smell is very clean and refreshing. My wife loves it.

Very good shaving soap. The lather is easy, very efficient and slick. This soap has now replaced American Blend as my favorite go to shave.

Performance and lather works just fine. But I’m disappointed in the “21st century” switch to cream soap.
I loved the old Fine hard soap pucks, however, I guess I can understand the business logic didn’t make good sense to sell a product that lasts forever like all the old Fine pucks in my rotation.
This will run out before my 5 year old mug stuffed with hard soap.

Love the smell but unfortunately the after shave not available in this sent. Very fresh smell and not over powering at all. Wife likes it and that is a plus!

When will platinum come out again?

Love this soap. It is slick and smells amazing! Great post shave feel also. Great shave all around.

Soap is slick but for me I am disappointed in the scent or lack there of. This is a very very mild smelling soft soap. I personally would of preferred this in their old triple milled soap puck.

The new soap formula is great, very slick, and leaves my skin feeling great. Pleasant scent.

Soap is priced $3 to $4 higher that it should be for the performance. Scent was excellent.

This is my first tub of the new 21st century soap with the new manufacturer. Compared with the hard pucks, the soap makes for a really silky lather that provides plenty of slickness and really great moisturizing after. Love the new soaps!

My go-to Fine scents are Italian Citrus and American blend. After seeing West Coast Shavings review of Aquamarine, I decided to go out on a limb and try this new scent. Unfortunately I wasn’t as thrilled with the scent once I got it. I can understand the descriptor of “Marine”, but to me it smells at first application like musky cologne that someone has sprayed to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke on their clothes. The initial musk is not so pleasant when backed with the more marine and citrus notes. Like I said, it’s like you’re trying to cover something up rather than have the smell enhance the overall scent. I will say, though, that after my shave is done and I use the Aquamarine aftershave, the musk slowly fades away, leaving a pleasant citrus scent backed with more fresh air notes. That’s why this scent has me on the fence.

Great lather and slickness. Nice thick peaky rich lather gives fantastic protection. Beautiful marine fragrance. Lots of residual slickness and a terrific post shave feel. Perfect soap all around. I can only parrot the same review for Platinum and American Blend. This soap formula is definitely a winner! The aftershave splash is a perfect match.

This scent is the best

The 21st Century Aquamarine is a nice, quality shaving soap. I have the previous version of Aquamarine and the newer version has a slightly stronger aroma than the previous version. The scent is light and crisp, and it is perfect for summer (or any time). The soap lathers into a thick and rich lather, resulting in a good, close shave. The new, wider container is nice and helps to load the brush with plenty of soap. Aquamarine is quickly becoming one of my favorite soaps!

Great refreshing scent for me this spring and summer and possibly year round. I do admit, I miss the old triple milled puck but the new soap base formula did not disappoint either. It explodes with lather and the slickness was on point. Thank you Mr. Fine!
