Fine® Bay Rum Shaving Soap

Beware, $39 gets you half a container of shaving soap. This is the second time I've received an order that's only half full.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t a smell or anything to associate the name “Snake Bite” with. I took a chance on it, I wish I didn’t. Second, the jar is fairly large for the portion of shave soap in it. Thirdly, it’s December here in California, not exactly hot weather, so I don’t feel there sounds be a reason why all the soap is completely on one side. Lastly, the white paper seal, wasn’t fully affixed to the jar. Not worth the $20+ based off of this initial opening of the product. Will be returning and looking for a new product.

Fine scented shaving soap. Lathers nicely and helps with a smooth shave.

I love this stuff, lathers easily, nice slick pillow, smells good with a bit of an underlying chill and I like the traditional artwork too.

I cannot brag enough about all of Fine’s products! This shave soap smells great and will last a long time.

Ny second time (first was a gift). Awesome product. Apparently this scent was not available for some time (@l east through Amazon). It's a clean scent (not overpowering).

This is a great product. No scent but you can feel the cooling menthol kick in as you shave. It’s my new favorite shave cream from Fine. I really enjoy all of your products!

If you don't like menthol move on...move on quickly. This is a WELL mentholated soap, lathers nicely and has great glide. It doesn't moisturize as well as some other soaps but it certainly leaves your face feeling fresh and your sinuses cleared

I seen this being used on Shave Nation where the host gave it very good remarks. Very nice menthol, maybe not quite as strong as the Shave Nation host implies but very nice. It lathers great, and gives a smooth cut for the blade, a nice pleasant surprise.I fully intend to purchase more when the time comes.

Il sapone è arrivato nei tempi indicati. La confezione è proprio minimale. La saponetta è piuttosto piccola solo 100g.Si preleva con il pennello umido e poi si monta in ciotola. Il montaggio è facile e corposo.Ci sono i cristalli di mentolo puri all'interno del sapone che hanno un effetto balsamico.Sulla pelle il mentolo si fa sentire... a dire il vero avevo timore di uscire con la pelle rossa come un peperone, ma invece tutto è andato liscio.Poi quando si sciacqua ti arriva la sferzata gelida!Un buon sapone dal profumo di mentolo puro.Lo consiglio specie in estate.

The menthol in this shaving packs a punch. It gives a really good shave when properly lathered up. It comes as a puck so a suitable bowl/mug is required to use it. At the time of ordering I didn't realise this so resorted to borrowing a round plastic food storage container. After a bot of searching on the site I found a stainless steel shaving mug from a Chinese trader in the Amazon Marketplace, this iwas just right for this soap. I will be ordering the aftershave to match the soap. The soap is definetely one that I will reorder when it comes to an end.

This soap is not for the faint of heart. Don't get me wrong, it does a fine (pun intended) job of creating a nice thick lather and I was able to get three passes and a clean-up without going back to the puck. The cooling menthol is like ice and gets cooler with each pass. I am not a fan of menthol but I found this to be uber refreshing and gives a great shave.

It makes a great lather but the mentol is mild and not as strong as others like chiseled face.

One of the best shave soaps ive ever ysed. And ive been a serious wet shaver for 40 years. Cool thick and excellent glide. Will definitely buy again

Grew up shaving with Rise Menthol shave cream, which had a goodly amount of menthol, and I certainly have missed that feeling over the years. This product has made up for lost time and then some! Excellent menthol rush with good protection during the shave!

Be prepared to freeze your face off with this insanely mentholated shave soap. This and all of the other fine soaps create a great lather and have a nice post shave feel. This particular offering comes with an over the top dose of menthol which is great on a hot summer day.

Definitely chill, but not as much as hoped for. Less stars due to doesn't ship to military PO boxes & had to have parents mail it out to me.

Just like a SNAKE BITE, STARTS OUT WITH A SLIGHT BURN THEN YOUR SECOND PASS IS COLDER AND THEN THE THIRD PASS EVEN COOLER MAN THAT MENTHOL IS GREAT!!

Love it. I won't lie I was very nervous about using this product at first. After the first shave though I found my favorite shave soap for those hot days and mornings when I need a bit of extra help waking up. I shave my head and face and man talk about a great shave and cold feeling after id's awesome. Pastor it with the after shave for a very cold morning experience

Ho svariati saponi: freschi, profumati ed estivi. Questo invece è neve pura sul viso.Molto facile da montare e piacevolissimo per la rasatura.Non invasivo nella profumazione ma alla fine ogni bava d'aria diventa freddo puro sul volto

Ottimo prodotto, ovviamente nulla a che vedere con i prodotti disponibili sugli scaffali. Non si smonta neanche ad ucciderlo. Ottima scorrevolezza sul viso. Per quanto riguarda la fragranza, quando ho aperto la confezione non è stato un "wow", ma col passare dei giorni lo sto apprezzando. Il mio naso percepisce the al limone misto a qualcosa di "classico", antico, pellame/cuoio/legno.....mia sensazione personale ovviamente. Preferisco fragranze più fruttate, ma mi sta piacendo comunque e mi sto convincendo a comprare anche l'after con la stessa fragranza.

Als erstes ist zu sagen dass die Verpackung und die Aufmachung der Rasierseife sehr ansprechend ist.1. Der Duft: der Duft wirkt sehr natürlich. Es ist eine sehr natürliche Orangennote. Nicht künstlich man riecht dass es sich um eine Seife handelt. Ich finde ihn für den Sommer sehr passend.2. Schaum: die Rasierseife lässt sich mit dem Pinsel sehr gut aufschlagen und man erhält schönen festen Schaum3. Eigenschaften: ich hatte im Vorfeld eine natürliche Bio Seife. Wobei mir dort Gleitgenschaften nicht gefallen haben. Bei der Rasierseife hier gleitet der Rasierhobel sehr gut über die Haut. Wenn man die Seife etwas einwirken lässt wird die Haut gut auf die hast du vorbereitetIch bin begeistert und werde wieder bei Fine kaufen.

buona schiuma non troppo dura, abbastanza persistente, permette una seconda stesura, ma molto blanda, non riuscirete a farne una terza con lo stesso pennello impregnato. Il profumo è interessante ma non mi soddisfa, non ha note che vanno verso il sandalo ( quindi intenso) e no ha note che vanno verso un ara fresca tipo pino , oceano sali fiori ecc, rimane più incline ad un odore tipo schiuma/bagno doccia antico, tenente al borotalco. nel complesso mi sembra faccia benissimo il suo dovere, ma ritengo che sia troppo cara, forse un "Cella" è più completo.ah.. dimenticavo... c'è scritto sull'insezione Made in Italy, ma non è vero, se guardate la foto che ho messo dell'etichetta, vedrete che l'italiano è solo un importatore.

Limited ingredients and a "fine" product indeed. Old timey smells and a good lubricant. I can't speak any better of this product line up

Great fresh barbershop smell and by far easiest lather of any premium soap I've tried. After looking for a long time for the best daily driver soap this is my final choice.
